Vegan Falafel Burger

This vegan falafel burger is the perfect addition to your weeknight dinner rotation! It is made in under 30 minutes, packed with fresh herbs and ingredients and topped with a delicious vegan tzatziki sauce! This homemade falafel sandwich recipe is also oil free, vegan and dairy free! It is so good you'll never have to buy take out falafel again!

Ingredients
  

For the Falafel Patties

  • 1 19oz can Chickpeas
  • 1 Small Red Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • Juice of half a Lemon
  • ½ cup Chopped Parsely
  • ¾ cup Oat Flour or Whole Wheat Flour
  • 3 tbsp Tahini
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Dried Corriander
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Pepper

For Serving

Instructions
 

  • Add all of your ingredients into a high speed blender or food processor.
  • Pulse until the ingredients have been fully incorporated, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Form 4 falafel patties then pan fry in oil (or no oil for oil free) until golden on both sides.
  • Serve on your buns with your toppings and enjoy!
