Easy Vegan Ground Beef Made from Tofu!

This vegan ground beef is the perfect vegan or vegetarian meat substitute! It is salty, perfectly seasoned and has a great meaty texture! Use it as a taco or burrito stuffer, in your Buddha bowls and more!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 block Extra Firm Pressed Tofu
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • Black Pepper to Taste

Instructions
 

  • Start by pressing your tofu using a tofu press or wrapping it in a kitchen towel for at least 15 minutes.
  • Crumble your tofu into a large bowl then add in the rest of the spices and seasonings.
  • Mix well so everything is well coated.
  • Spread evenly onto a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes at 400f until slightly crisped.
