These air fryer plantain chips are slightly crisped, slightly salted and loaded with flavor! A great alternative that doesn't include all the fat from deep frying but still contains loads of flavor! They are so versatile and can be made into many different flavors!
Make sure to choose plantains ripe enough you can peel off the skin.
Peel your plantains then slice them as thinly as possible using a mandolin or a knife.
Transfer to a bowl and add your seasonings. Use your hand to coat all of the pieces completely, making sure to peel apart any pieces that are stuck together.
Air Fry at 350 degrees for 12 minutes flipping halfway through.
Watch them carefully at the end and take out any of the thinner pieces, they will cook faster than the thicker pieces.
