Creamy Vegan Everything Bagel Pasta

This everything bagel pasta is two of your favorite things combined! If you love bagels and pasta then this is the dish for you! The pasta sauce is ultra rich and creamy, similar to a vegan alfredo, and it pairs perfectly with the everything bagel flavor! This is such a fun swap for your pasta night and it is such a quick and easy recipe!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Chopped White Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 cups Almond Milk or other plant milk
  • ½ cup Raw Cashews
  • ¼ cup Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • tbsp Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 300 g Whole Wheat Pasta use a high protein pasta to make it high in protein!
  • Chives & Extra Bagel Seasoning for Topping

Instructions
 

  • First sauté your onions in a touch of olive oil until translucent then toast your garlic for one minute, stirring continuously.
  • Add your onions and garlic into a high speed blender along with the rest of the ingredients (except for the bagel seasoning and pasta). Blend until smooth.
  • Transfer your sauce into a saucepan along with the everything bagel seasoning and bring to a simmer.
  • Cook your pasta according to package directions and strain. Be sure to reserve some of that starchy pasta water!
  • Add the pasta into the sauce and mix well to combine. Add pasta water as needed to achieve your desired consistency.
  • Serve with extra everything bagel seasoning and chives and enjoy!
