How to make your vegan everything bagel pasta
First start by sautéing your onions until translucent then add in your garlic and cook for one more minute.
Add your onions and garlic to a high speed blender along with the rest of the sauce ingredients and blend until smooth.
Next, add your blended sauce to a sauce pan add in your everything bagel seasoning and bring to a gentle simmer to thicken. Cook your pasta in the meantime.
Mix your pasta with your sauce and reserve some pasta water. Add in reserved pasta water as needed until you reach your desired consistency.
Top with extra everything bagel seasoning and chives and enjoy!

Use a high protein pasta! This is a great way to sneak in some extra protein!
Make it gluten free! This recipe can easily be made gluten free by using a gluten free pasta! Everything else in the recipe is 100% gluten free!
Make it nut free! Make this recipe nut free by omitting the cashews and using a nut free plant milk. You could also swap the cashews for full fat coconut milk or hemp seeds for a rich flavor and texture.
Make some extra for leftovers! This pasta is SO delicious as leftovers although for best flavor I recommend to store the sauce separately and cook pasta as you need it. Just heat up the sauce and serve with your cooked pasta!

Creamy Vegan Everything Bagel Pasta
Ingredients
- ½ Chopped White Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 cups Almond Milk or other plant milk
- ½ cup Raw Cashews
- ¼ cup Nutritional Yeast
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- ¾ tsp Salt
- 1½ tbsp Everything Bagel Seasoning
- 300 g Whole Wheat Pasta use a high protein pasta to make it high in protein!
- Chives & Extra Bagel Seasoning for Topping
Instructions
- First sauté your onions in a touch of olive oil until translucent then toast your garlic for one minute, stirring continuously.
- Add your onions and garlic into a high speed blender along with the rest of the ingredients (except for the bagel seasoning and pasta). Blend until smooth.
- Transfer your sauce into a saucepan along with the everything bagel seasoning and bring to a simmer.
- Cook your pasta according to package directions and strain. Be sure to reserve some of that starchy pasta water!
- Add the pasta into the sauce and mix well to combine. Add pasta water as needed to achieve your desired consistency.
- Serve with extra everything bagel seasoning and chives and enjoy!
