Inspired by the viral Date Snickers Bark all over social media, this date Snickers recipe only requires 5 ingredients and is super easy to make. The soft and luscious Medjool dates serve as the caramel base for this healthy dessert treat. The peanuts add a satisfying crunch, and a smooth chocolate layer adds a velvety finish. Free from refined sugars, gluten-free, and dairy free.

  • First, remove the seeds from your dates.
  • Press your dates onto a baking sheet to form a large bar.
  • Drizzle on your peanut butter and add your crushed peanuts on top.
  • Add your chocolate chips and coconut oil into a small bowl and microwave in 30 second increments until melted, stirring every 30 seconds so the chocolate doesn’t burn.
  • Pour the chocolate over the peanut covered date bar, then top it off with some flaky salt.
  • Place your date Snickers bar into the freezer to firm up for at least 30 minutes. This will ensure that the chocolate hardens.
  • Store in the fridge until you’re ready to enjoy.
