This firecracker tofu is crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and such a fun way to eat tofu! I first saw this recipe on TikTok as a firecracker salmon and knew I had to veganize it! It is served with a sesame soy dip and loaded with delicious flavor!
Press your tofu using a tofu press or by wrapping your tofu in a kitchen towel and placing a heavy object on top. This will help release the liquid so the tofu can absorb more flavor.
Slice your tofu into rectangles then coat in coconut aminos.
Pan fry your tofu until all sides are golden then set aside.
Wet your rice paper then assemble your firecracker tofu. Place your avocado, green onions, jalapeno and seared tofu in the middle of your rice paper and wrap tightly.
Pan fry in some olive oil until all sides are crispy.
Mix your dip in a small bowl and enjoy!
