Vegan Arugula Walnut Pesto (oil free)

This pesto takes 5 minutes to make and is a great way to sneak in a load of veggies! It has a tangy, zetsy, nutty flavor and is great as a pasta sauce, dip or spread.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Packed Arugula
  • ½ cup Walnuts
  • 2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • ¼ cup Almond Milk or any other plant milk
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1-2 tbsp Olive Oil optional
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Add all of your ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. I like to keep a few small chunks in the pesto so I blend until it's mostly smooth, but this it up to you!
  • Use as a pasta sauce or spread on your toast!
