What ingredients do I need for Vegan Tempeh Sausage Crumbles?
- Tempeh
- Olive Oil
- Fennel
- Basil
- Oregano
- Chili Flakes
- Garlic
- Maple Syrup
- Soy Sauce or Tamari for gluten free
- Lemon Juice
How to make Vegan Tempeh Sausage Crumbles:
These tempeh crumbles take a mere 15 minutes to make. First start by heating some olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat, crumble your tempeh and add it to the pan. Cook the tempeh for 5-10 minutes until it gets crispy and golden. Once crispened add in the rest of the ingredients and cook for a further 2-3 minutes! Serve and enjoy and try not to eat the whole thing in one sitting!

When I made these crumbles I ate almost the whole thing straight out of the bowl! It is so loaded with flavour, and has a salty, addictiveness that is so good you can eat it by itself! You can also top these crumbles on your favorite salad, add them to a vegan pasta, or have it on the side of a tofu scramble with some toast and fruit for an american breakfast!

Vegan Tempeh Sausage Crumbles
Ingredients
- 1 Package of tempeh 8 oz
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Dry Fennel
- ½ tsp Basil
- ½ tsp Oregano
- ¼ tsp Chili Flakes
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat and crumble in your package of tempeh.
- Cook for about 5-10 minutes until the tempeh has browned and crispened.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
