You can’t beat that peanut butter chocolate combo! Pan frying the tortilla melts the chocolate, caramelizes the banana, and creates this melty ooey gooey tortilla that you’re sure to love!

What ingredients do I need for my tortilla?

  • Tortilla
  • Powdered Peanut Butter or Natural Peanut Butter (the former has more protein)
  • Banana
  • Vegan Dark Chocolate

How to make your easy tortilla:

First, if you are using powdered peanut butter mix that separately in a bowl with as little water as possible, you want the mix to be nice and thick. Grab the largest tortilla you can find and add the peanut butter to the center. Next, add the sliced banana on top of the peanut butter. Finally, add the pieces of dark chocolate over the banana so it will melt when it is pan fried. Fold in the sides of the tortilla to the center, then pan fry with the folded side down first over medium heat. Fry on each side until golden and crispy, then slice in half and enjoy!

Tips on making your peanut butter chocolate tortilla:

  • Make sure to find a dark chocolate that is vegan! I use Lindt chocolate, many of their dark chocolates are vegan!
  • Use powdered peanut butter if you are looking to include more protein.
  • If using powdered peanut butter mix as little water in as possible, so the peanut butter mix is nice and thick.
  • Place the chocolate on last so that it can melt while cooking.
  • Make sure to fold in the sides of the tortilla right in the center so there are no holes, otherwise the chocolate may leak through.

  • 1 Large Tortilla
  • 3 tbsp Powdered Peanut Butter, mixed with water
  • 1 Banana sliced
  • 1-2 Large Pieces Dark Chocolate broken into pieces

Instructions
 

  • Assemble your tortilla, first with the peanut butter, second with the sliced banana, and last with the chocolate so it can melt while cooking on the pan.
  • Fold in the edges of the tortilla to the center, making sure there are no holes in the center so the chocolate doesn't leak out!
  • Pan fry each side, starting with the folded side down, until golden and crispy.
