Recipe Tips for Vegan Protein Cookie
Mix-Ins: Feel free to get creative with additional mix-ins. Chopped nuts like almonds or walnuts add crunch and protein. You can also toss in some chia seeds or flaxseeds for a nutritional boost.
Make-Ahead: Prepare the dough and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. This allows the flavors to meld together nicely. When ready to bake, shape the dough and cook as directed.
Experiment with other Berries: Get creative and try out other frozen berries, such as blueberries or strawberries, for a unique twist!”
Skip the banana: For a creamy twist, swap out the bananas for ⅓ cup of vegan yogurt. Alternatively, use unsweetened applesauce.
Make it gluten-free: Use certified gluten-free oats to make a gluten-free chocolate raspberry air fryer protein cookie.
