Easy High Protein Baked Oats {vegan & gf}
These protein baked oats are perfectly sweetened and packed with plant protein! This bake is so simple to make and is perfect for a breakfast on the go, or eaten as a healthy snack. It is made with wholesome ingredients, has no added sugar and basically tastes like a berry blast oat cake! Who doesn’t love cake for breakfast?!
What ingredients do I need for my protein baked oats?
- Banana
- Plant Milk
- Vanilla
- Oats
- Vegan Protein Powder – I use Outcast Foods Vanilla – find it here!
- Ground Flax
- Cinnamon
- Himalayan Salt
- Fresh or Frozen Berries
How to make your protein baked oats
These protein baked oats are insanely easy to make!
Wet Ingredients. Start by mashing your banana then add in the rest of the wet ingredients and mix well to combine.
Dry Ingredients. Next, add in your dry ingredients and mix again.
Bake. Transfer the mixture into an 8×8 baking dish and flatten with the back of a spatula or with a spoon. Bake at 375f for 30 minutes. Slice into 4 squares and enjoy!
Substitutions & Additions
Swap Banana for half a cup of apple sauce or pumpkin puree!
Add in some other super seeds! You can add in some hemp, chia, or any other nuts or seeds you’d like!
Use fresh or frozen berries, either will work!
Jazz it up by mixing in some nut butter or other spices!

Ingredients
- 1 Banana mashed
- 1½ cups Plant Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 cups Oats
- 60 g Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 tbsp Ground Flax
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Dash of Salt
- 1½ cups Fresh or frozen berries
Instructions
- Mash your banana in a large bowl then add in the rest of the wet ingredients and mix well.
- Add in your dry ingredients and mix again until combined.
- Transfer into a 8×8 baking dish and flatten with the back of a spatula or a spoon.
- Top with your fresh or frozen berries and pat them down into the oat mixture.
- Bake at 350f, slice and enjoy!
