This Green Goddess Smoothie is the perfect summer drink. It is zesty, lemony, and packed with a ton of fruits and veg. This smoothie is the perfect way to sneak in some extra veggies. This veggie packed drink is perfect for a hot summers’ day, or as a morning wake up drink!

What ingredients do I need for the Green Goddess Smoothie?

  • Celery
  • Green Apple
  • Cucumber
  • Ginger
  • Lemon
  • Spinach
  • Water
  • Ice Cubes

How to make the Green Goddess Smoothie:

This smoothie is so easy it can be made in under 5 minutes. Make sure to wash all your veggies before throwing into your blender! Roughly chop your ingredients then toss in and blend. Add more water if you like your smoothie on the thinner side. Add extra ice cubes to make it extra cold and refreshing!

The blender I use:

I am absolutely obsessed with my Vitamix I use it for everything and it can pretty much pulverize anything! You do not need to use a high speed blender such as a Vitamix but it does help! If you are not using a high speed blender chop the ingredients into smaller pieces.

Try these other fruit options: If you are not a fan of apples or do not have any try using banana, mango, pineapple, an orange or pear. I prefer to use frozen fruit as it makes the smoothie much colder and refreshing!

Try these other liquid options: In place of water, you could try coconut water, coconut milk, or a fresh fruit juice such as freshly squeezed orange juice!

Other greens you can add in: If you’re going for a green smoothie might as well add in as many greens as you can! Some other great additions would be kale, or romaine lettuce. You could also throw in some mint, cilantro or parsley leaves to add a new flavor twist!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Stalks Celery
  • 1 Green Apple
  • Large Cucumber
  • ½ inch Cube of Ginger
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • Handful of Spinach
  • cups Water
  • 3-4 Ice Cubes

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients into a blender and blend smooth.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice and enjoy!
