Easy Buffalo Chickpea Wrap
This Easy Buffalo Chickpea Wrap is loaded with flavor and only takes only 10 minutes to make! It’s the perfect throw together meal for when you’re too lazy to cook or don’t have much time! Use these chickpeas in a wrap, alongside some rice and veggies and more!
What ingredients do I need for my easy buffalo chickpea wrap?
- Chickpeas
- Olive Oil
- Franks Red Hot Buffalo Sauce
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Hummus
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Red Onion
- Pickles
How to make an easy buffalo chickpea wrap:
The Buffalo Chickpeas: These chickpeas are the star of the show, and the best part is they take only 5 minutes to make! First, strain and rinse your can of chickpeas. Next, heat some olive oil into a pan then add in your chickpeas, hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for about 5 minutes until heated through. I love Franks Red Hot Sauce for this recipe but you can use your favorite hot sauce here!
The Wrap: Slice your veggies up and have them ready to go. Any veggies will work feel free to use what you have on hand! For this recipe I like to use lettuce, tomato, pickles, and red onion!
Sauces: A sauce is a must here to cut the intensity of the hot sauce! I went for a roasted garlic hummus here! You can any flavor of hummus you like or even a vegan mayo!
What else can I use these chickpeas for?
These chickpeas are so loaded with flavor they can spice up any meal!
- Use these buffalo chickpeas in a Buddha bowl with some rice, veggies and a yummy sauce!
- Try them as a loaded buffalo sweet potato. To make this roast a whole sweet potato, slice it open an add in your chickpeas along with a lemon tahini dressing and some fresh veg!
- Smash these chickpeas up and add them to a sandwich!
- Add these buffalo chickpeas into some vegan tacos!
Substitutions & Additions:
- To make this wrap higher in protein crumble in some extra firm tofu!
- If you are not a big fam of hummus swap it for vegan mayo or a lemon tahini dressing!

Ingredients
- 1 can Chickpeas strained and rinsed
- ⅓ cup Franks Red Hot Sauce
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- ⅓ cup Hummus
- 3 pieces Romaine Lettuce roughly chopped
- 1 Large Tomato roughly chopped
- ⅛ Red Onion sliced
- 2 Dill Pickles sliced
Instructions
- Start by heating some olive oil in a pan then add in your chickpeas, garlic powder, onion powder.
- Cook for 5 minutes until heated through.
- Slice and prepare your veggies for the wrap.
- Assemble your wrap with your hummus, veggies and buffalo chickpeas. Wrap up and enjoy!
