What ingredients do I need for my birthday cake cookie dough

How to make birthday cake cookie dough

This birthday cake cookie dough recipe is insanely easy to make and is finished in 5 minutes! All you need is a high speed blender!

I use my Vitamix for everything. It is so powerful and can blend through anything! Before I got it I was going through 2-3 blenders a year! Getting my Vitamix was the single best investment I’ve ever made for my kitchen! Click here for the Vitamix I use!

Add all of the ingredients into your high speed blender or food processor, except for the sprinkles, and blend until smooth! Add more plant milk as needed and scrape down the sides an necessary! The dough will be quite thick so be patient and add more plant milk if needed!

To get the sprinkles on the side of the glass brush with maple syrup and stick some sprinkles to the sides!

How to eat your birthday cake cookie dough

Straight out of the jar! This cookie dough is so delicious and can be (and should be) eaten by the spoon! It is egg free so it is totally safe to do so!

Make birthday cake cookie dough bites! Roll your dough into balls then roll into some sprinkles to make little bite sized snacks!

Make birthday cake cookies! Although I have not tried this myself I think this dough would work great as a healthy cookie! Just separate the dough into cookie shapes, place onto a baking tray and bake at 350f for 12-15 minutes!

Some tips from Steph

Make it nut free! To make this cookie dough nut free swap the almond butter for sun butter, tahini or another nut free butter! It may alter the taste slightly but will still taste delicious!

Make your own oat flour! The cheapest way to get oat flour is by making your own at home! Just blend up some rolled oats until it becomes a fine powder! I like to blend up a big batch and store it in a jar so I always have oat flour on hand!

Use another liquid sweetener! You can swap the maple syrup for agave, monkfruit sweetener, or any other liquid sweetener!

Adjust sweetness to your liking. The sweetness of this recipe depends on how sweet your protein powder is so you may need to add a smidge more sweetener if your protein is not too sweet!

Make it without protein powder. To make this cookie dough without protein powder omit the protein and add in some extra sweetener. Since the protein adds in a lot of the sweetness here it will have to be replaced!

Storing your cookie dough

You can store this cookie dough in the fridge for up to 5 days! I like to store it in a small mason jar and eat it right out of the jar with a spoon! You can also pre-portion the dough into 4-5 little snack sized portions to take them on the go!
